Cate Chang has been advising well-established and newly started charities, private foundations, 501(c)(4) organizations, and others that are committed to leading the way in progressive philanthropy since 2020. Cate has been an Attorney at Mill Law Center since 2022, and before joining MLC, was an associate at Adler & Colvin. Prior to refocusing her practice to work with nonprofit organizations, Cate spent nearly a decade of practice as a corporate tax lawyer advising clients on the tax considerations of mergers and internal restructurings. Cate is licensed to practice law in California and New York, and she resides in the Bay Area.
